PFE was founded in 2007 by Mr. Joseph T. Hardiman.
Mr Hardiman was previously the VP, Ecommerce for Charming Shoppes®, Inc., a Fortune 1000 specialty bricks-and-mortar retailer and the parent company of Lane Bryant®, Fashion Bug®, Catherines® and Petite Sophisticate®. In 2001, Mr. Hardiman was the start-up executive and the division general manager of Charming Shoppes' first direct-to-consumer business, operating as the digital channel for all CSI brands. Mr. Hardiman created the organizational structure, operational procedures, websites, digital marketing organization, ERP systems suite, legacy business interfaces and direct to consumer fulfillment operation to enable CSI's entrance into the direct-to-consumer market. CSI''s direct-to-consumer business evolved from $0 in 2001 to $250mm is 2007 under Mr. Hardiman's direction.
